The Herbal Garden was initiated in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Environmental Studies to promote conservation of medicinal plants and enhance environmental awareness on campus. The garden serves as a living laboratory, supporting experiential learning for students across disciplines.
It houses a variety of medicinal plants used in traditional systems of medicine, highlighting their therapeutic, ecological, and cultural significance. The initiative aims to preserve indigenous knowledge, promote biodiversity, and encourage sustainable practices within the campus.
The Herbal Garden also contributes to holistic well-being and strengthens the institution’s commitment to green campus initiatives.
