About the Society

Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Holy Book of the Sikhs, embodies divine wisdom helping us to lead a life of virtue, piety and rectitude. In keeping with its tradition, Aprampaar, the Divinity Society of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, reflecting the unabated enthusiasm and selfless devotion of the college, remains active throughout the year.

Aprampaar means something which is infinite, limitless, above all and hence the supreme lord!
The society is responsible for the recital of college prayer, before the commencement of any event or seminar conducted by other societies or by the college. The society also organizes Sehaj Paath of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji every year in which the students take active part. The Divinity society of our college has also added feathers to the college's cap by participating and winning in various Gurmat Sangeet Competitions organized by various Colleges.
Divinity society has also organized various events and competitions like The Divine meet aiming to impart the teachings and philosophy of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji celebrating the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Students also participate in Nagar Kirtan organized by various Gurudwara Sahib on various occasions.
