The Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India designed to support students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh in pursuing undergraduate education outside the region. The scheme provides financial assistance for tuition fees and maintenance allowances, thereby enabling students to access quality education across the country. PMSSS promotes academic growth, national integration, and equal educational opportunities for youth from J&K and Ladakh.

PMSSS Cell of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College has been established to assist eligible students from Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh under the Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme. The cell provides guidance on portal registration, admission procedures, document verification, and scholarship-related formalities, tracking scholarship disbursement, ensuring smooth coordination with AICTE, and conducting workshops.
