About the Society
Khalsa Consulting and Research Centre (KCRC), based at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, University of Delhi, is a premier student-led consulting and research organization that partners with startups, businesses, and institutions to deliver strategic, research-backed, and implementation-ready solutions. Founded with the vision of bridging the gap between academic potential and real-world business challenges, KCRC provides a platform for some of the most talented undergraduate minds to engage directly with companies, applying their analytical and problem-solving skills in live projects.
Our Mission and Vision
Our aim is to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world problem-solving by giving students the chance to work on actual consultancy projects with organisations. Through these projects, students can apply the business concepts, analytical tools, and strategies they study in college to real challenges faced by companies. This not only allows them to contribute fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to organisations but also helps them gain meaningful, hands-on experience that goes far beyond textbooks. In this way, the society works as a platform where academic knowledge is transformed into practical impact, creating value for both students and partner organisations.
KCRC aspires to become the leading consulting society within Delhi University, known for its professionalism, impact, and research-driven culture. Our long-term vision is to expand beyond campus consulting projects, building partnerships with established corporates, publishing thought leadership reports, and contributing meaningfully to India’s growing startup ecosystem. We aim to create a legacy of producing industry- ready consultants equipped with both technical depth and strategic foresight.
Our Past Projects
Partnered with an emerging ad-tech venture aiming to disrupt digital advertising for SMEs and hyperlocal businesses. Our team developed a comprehensive consulting report modelled after global consulting standards. We conducted deep-dive financial and growth analysis covering MRR, CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and product-market fit. The recommendations helped refine their business model and strengthen their go-to-market strategy.
Worked with INGLU, a youth-driven startup known for its pan-India student network and innovative marketing campaigns. We carried out a full-scale audit of business processes and marketing strategies, identifying inefficiencies across operations. Our recommendations emphasized restructuring initiatives, customer retention strategies, and brand partnerships. The project not only improved INGLU’s operational efficiency but also reinforced its positioning as a leading youth-engagement platform.
Provided consulting support to Klout Communications, an established marketing and communications agency with a client base spanning corporates, media houses, and consumer brands. Our role focused on analysing business development practices, creating client retention strategies, and refining frameworks for acquisition. The insights enabled Klout to strengthen its digital brand positioning and reinforce its reputation as a trusted marketing partner in an intensely competitive industry.
Worked with Stubborn Factory, a merchandise brand with a strong youth and corporate presence. Our project involved conducting detailed market research, competitor benchmarking, and growth strategy formulation to strengthen their positioning against leading players in the space. We also assisted in developing strategies to improve customer retention and expand their reach across new segments, enabling the brand to move towards sustainable growth and stronger market differentiation
Collaborated with Reyoung, a rising skincare and wellness brand, to enhance its digital presence and market growth. Our team designed social media growth strategies, consumer research frameworks, and influencer-driven campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition in a highly competitive market.
