It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Bhai Gurdass Library, Sri Guru nanak Dev Khalsa College ( University of Delhi). The Library would like to support you in your studies/ research/preparing lectures etc. and in making good use of your knowledge; we will help you to locate, select and acquire the information you need from what may seem like a rather daunting mountain of material.
Our library is working for the dissemination of knowledge through our remarkable specialized research collections, outstanding services, innovative technologies, and experience staff. Our Library Gateway is designed to provide a multitude of resources, both print-based and electronic, as well as to offer detailed information about our ongoing services. We want to encourage all members of our community to visit us virtually or in person to discover our collections, to be awed by their splendor, and above all to use them.
We will continue our commitment to collecting materials, but are redoubling our efforts in making these materials discoverable, usable and accessible to faculty, researchers and students. Input from thoughtful faculty and students have been drivers in most of the initiatives, and the staff of the library has shown great resolve in making these things not only possible, but also real.

The flood of information before us is overwhelming and will only increase with further developments in study. But in today’s knowledge-based society we rely on knowing the section of this information that is relevant to our field of work and area of life, particularly those of us who are involved in developing expertise in concern subjects.
