The music society of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College aims at magnifying the musical talents of students. The Musoc Society comprises of students from various courses with varying singing, musical, instrumental abilities, and talents, which has added several accomplishments to the society. Musoc focuses on elevating the inherent talent of each and every student by providing adequate exposure, platforms, and opportunities thereby, contributes in strengthening their confidence and presentation skills. 

 

On September 8, 2021, office bearer selection was conducted for the academic session 2021-22. In the event one president, one vice president, and two coordinators were selected.

In the period 2020-21, Musoc society conducted two online musical competitions.  On February 4, 2021, Anhad a semi classical solo singing inter-college competition was conducted. While Tarang an inter genre solo singing intra college competition was conducted on February 18, 2021. On the basis of their musical skills, confidence level, and presentation of their talent, all the participants were marked by the three teachers of the college itself and were awarded certificates, and online cash prizes to first three rank achievers apart from certificates. Besides this, on February 9, 2021, selection of office bearers was conducted in which on the basis of student’s presentation of their skills, one vice president, one president and three coordinators were chosen for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Musoc society.In the period 2019-20, on September 6, 2019, yearly auditions conducted. Musoc participated on January 3, 2020, at Motilal Nehru College, and on January 17, 2020, at Indraprastha College in the Indian classical and western solo competitions. On February 1, 2020, at Lady Sri Ram college, musoc participated in the preliminary auditions round. On February 18, 2020, at Dyal Singh college, the society participated in the Western solo singing competition. On February 24, 2020, achieved third position in the Solo Singing competition at SRCC. On February 26, 2020, at Ramjas college the society participated in the Western solo singing competition.

In the period 2017-18, Musoc participated in 25 events and accomplished many positions. In the year 2017 at OP Jindal University secured third position. In the year 2018, at DIAS secured first position, at JIMS secured first position, at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar college secured first position, at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies secured first position, at Delhi Metropolitan Education secured first position, at Swami Shradhanand College secured second position, at KIET secured third position, at Bharti College secured consolation prizes, at Gargi College secured first prize, at University College of Medical science secured second prize, at Daulat Ram College secured second prize, at Maharaja Agrasen institute of Management Science secured second prize, at PGDAV secured First prize, at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College secured Second prize, at KIET secured second position, at Mata Sundari secured first position, at JIMS secured first position, at DIAS secured second position, at Laxmibai College secured first position, at University College of Medical Sciences secured first position, at Rajdhani College secured second position, at IILM secured first position, at Laxmibai College secured third position, at Laxmibai College secured first position in the event.

In the period, 2015-2016:  Musoc secured First position in Western Band at B. R. Ambedkar University, First position in Beat Boxing at Deen Dayal Upadhyay college, Second position in Beat Boxing at Aurobindo College, First position in Instrumental Music at Aurobindo College, Second position in Beat Boxing at NIIT, Second Position in Solo Singing at Aurobindo college.
