The Election Commission of India has taken various initiatives so that there is maximum participation of Youth in Electoral programmes. The Govt. has formulated the policy through its Electoral regional offices to facilitate the Youth Voter in their active participation during elections. Its main objective is to register young voters in the age group of 18 to 20 years. During the festival Help Desk may be setup with the due consideration of Covid protocol.

Youth Voter Festival was celebrated at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa college on 29th September, 2021 by organising Help Desk under the SWEEP for Special Summary Revision of photo Electoral Rolls in the college under the guidance of Nodal Officer, Dr. Mamta Ahuja.
