Maintenance of Discipline

Every student admitted to the College is required to maintain discipline and good conduct in and outside the College during the period of their stay in the College. Violations of discipline rules are punishable under Ordinance XV-B. Students are required to read these rules carefully and ensure good conduct and behaviour during their stay in the College.

Use of Mobile phones in the College Premises

Every student is warned strictly against the use of mobile phones either in the classroom or in the College corridors. Students found violating this injunction shall be dealt with severely, which includes confiscation of mobile phones to the violators’ rustication from the College.

Punishment for Ragging

Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the premises of the College. Indiscipline shall be strictly dealt as per Ordinance XV-C, University of Delhi. College will implement all measures decided upon by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, Ministry of HRD and the UGC. Any student found guilty of ragging will be expelled from the College and criminal proceedings maybe initiated against the student.

Policy against Sexual Harassment of Women (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal)

An Act to provide protection against sexual harassment of women at workplace and for the prevention and redress of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith incidental thereto.

WHEREAS sexual harassment results in violation of the fundamental rights of a woman to equality under article 14 and 15 of the Constitution of India and her right to life and to live with dignity under article 21 of the Constitution and right to practice any profession or to carry on any occupation, trade or business which includes a right to a safe environment free from sexual harassment.

AND WHEREAS the protection against sexual harassment and the right to work with dignity are universally recognised human rights by international conventions and instruments such as Convention on the Elimination of all forms of discrimination against Women, which has been ratified on the 25th June, 1993 by the Government of India.

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to make provisions for giving effect to the said Convention for protection of women against sexual harassment at workplace.

No Smoking

The College is a "No-smoking Zone" and strict action will be taken in accordance with the University rules and guidelines against the offenders. Students are strictly advised to adhere to the University of Delhi Ordinance XV-B and XV-C and maintain discipline in the College without any exception.

Notice Boards and College Website

College Notice Boards, installed on each floor are prominent source of information. Students are required to check the notice boards regularly for any new information. Non-compliance with any order and notification on the basis that the notice board was not read shall not be accepted. There is also a public address system to make all urgent and important announcements to the students repeatedly as and when necessary. Digital display boardsare installed on all floors for disseminating relevant information to the students.

Students’ time-table, attendance records, internal assessment, and other significant information from time to time are uploaded on the College website promptly. The College website has Question Bank for all subjects, e-magazine and also e- prospectus which can be accessed by the students easily.

The College website remains updated and it keeps the students, faculty and other stakeholders posted on all important notices, circulars and attendance matters.

Parents are also requested to read the rules carefully and ensure good conduct of their wards at all the times during their stay in the College.
