Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has often shared his vision of building a new, AatmaNirbhar Bharat by the year 2022.
Our great nation is now celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence (आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव)
Hon’ble Prime Minister inaugurated the year-long celebrations from Gujarat on 12th March, 2021, which also marks the 91st anniversary of the historic Salt Satyagraha led by Mahatma Gandhi. 
Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting regarding the celebrations of 75 years of India’s Independence-“Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”. The celebrations which commenced 75 weeks prior to the Independence Day 2022 would extend up to 15th August, 2023.
Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College celebrating ‘आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव ’ by organizing plethora of events conference/seminar/symposium/ essay competition and many more events as part of the year-long celebrations. 
The festival of 75 years of independence brings that the spirit of freedom struggle, a tribute to the martyrs and a pledge and resolve to build India of their dreams could be experienced.
